A Japanese artist went to me for Hilot. So i give her Hilot and start with Tawas Ritual. I prepare a glass of water and raw egg and start to pray and make the egg touch the body parts of the client which are the gate way for the soul. After prayer i break gently the egg into the glass of water and it started to form shape so as telling its stories.
Raw Egg broken into a glass of water is a divinatory method that is categorized as Scrying. The raw egg and the glass of water is the medium and the interpreter is the channel for the messages of the soul (higher and lower self of the client) whom the Manghihilot have contacted to communicate with.
Each shape that been formed in the glass tell specific stories. Even the way how the egg is brocken tells specific areas of the clients life. Each stories may refer to situations, and each situations may tell the condition of the wellness of the client where the manghihilot must determine which body organs radiating that situation.
Tawas is not just a Divinatory Art that tells a story. Because the story that been told by tawas is your own story which the Manghihilot would channel to locate the areas in your life that needs attention.
“Pagsasala” means filtering and “Panghihila” means pulling. This ritual is also a form of Diagnostic measure using banana leaf. Aside from diagnostic it can be also a mean of cure by leaving the leaves on the part of the body through “tapal”.
Our feet plays an important role in our Physical body by giving us the ability to stand and walk aside from these physical function, it also has a psycho emotional function of helping us to walk our path towards a successful future.

Water is the ancient element that has fundamental role in Healthcare. And in the process of Healing, cleansing has the primary importance in delivering wellness back to the client.

Our Pulse pertains to the activity of our Heart. It is the movement of the blood that goes in and out of our heart. Since our Blood is moving all through out our body as it transport nutrition to our internal organs, it also transmit information to the condition of the internal organs through analyzing the quality of our Pulse.
Kilubansa is a Filipino Deity of Healing. He is a Diwata, a being of light which is a spark of the Universal God. On December 8, 2012- Apu Adman Aghama have rediscovered the ways of Kilubansa Healing.
Kilu refers to the weight measurement and Bansag which refers to the name or Bansa which houses the community.
Tawas Diagnostic is the Traditional Filipino Diagnostic procedure conducted by a Manghihilot prior to implementing cure or remedy to the illness of a person. Traditionally the art of practicing Tawas was passed down from the Generation of Healer or was given through a Spiritual Vision.

The Ancient Arts and Sciences of Traditional healing are being stripped off from us by modernization. The advancement of our technology makes Hilot to become an alternative in the absence of Modern Medicine.
Before when an expectant mother is about to give birth, the family member will call a manghihilot to deliver the baby into birth. Now, this duty of Attending Birth has been stripped off from the manghihilot and given to the Registered Midwife.
Before when people need a powerful herb to cure their illness they will consult a manghihilot for prescription but now-a-days people will go to a Physician and Pharmacist for prescription that will only provide relief.
These are few of the many roles of a Manghihilot as a healthcare provider that been stripped off by modernization.
And now-a-days there is an upcoming threat to kill the work of Manghihilot, and we stand for Hilot to be preserved and be on the hands of the Filipino People.
