World Health Organisation defines Traditional Medicine as: “the sum total of Knowledge, Skills and practices based on the theories, beliefs, and experiences indigenous to different cultures, whether explicable or not, used in the maintenance of health as well as in the prevention, diagnosis, improvement or treatment of Physical and Mental Illness.” – World Health Organization
While the Philippine Department of Health through its attached agency which is the Philippine Institute of Traditional Alternative Health Care through the Republic Act 8423 which is the Traditional and Alternative Medicine Act of 1997 defines Traditional Medicine as: “the sum total of knowledge, skills and practice on health care, not necessarily explicable in the context of modern, scientific, philosophical framework, but recognized by the people to help maintain and improve their health towards the wholeness of their beings, the community and society and their interrelations based on their culture, history, heritage and consciousness.” RA 8423 Art. 2 Sec. 4B as of December 9, 1997
About HABI
HABI means Weaving in the Tagalog dialect of the Philippines. HABI stands for Hilot Academy of Binabaylan and we weave optimum health and wellness through the study and practice of Hilot.
Hilot Academy of Binabaylan is an Educational Ministry of Luntiang Aghama Natural Divine Arts Shrine of Healing Inc.which was registered on September 4, 2012 while Hilot Academy on the 5th day of April 2016. As an Organization it is our goal to preserve the Physio-Psycho Emotional and Socio-Spiritual and Cultural aspect of Hilot that is known as the Traditional Healing Arts and Sciences of the Philippines. Hilot is about Healing, thus our Mission in the Academy is to Heal. As Binabaylan we heal individual or groups by Harmonizing, Enhancing and Activating Life Force within them. We help individual or group by providing them: Hope Education Livelihood Prosperity
OUR MISSION
- HABI works on to preserve the folkloric aspect of Hilot by bridging the gap of mysticism into a more acceptable Scientific approach in Primary Healthcare.
- HABI promotes Hilot as the Indigenous Traditional Medicine of the Philippines that has a complete Healthcare delivery system that consist of Diagnostic, Preventive, Promotive, Therapeutic and Rehabilitative Healthcare that restores an individual’s optimum health and Wellness.
- HABI provides Recognition of Authentic Hilot Practitioners through accreditation and certification of individuals who achieve competencies on the practices of Hilot Binabaylan through Seminar, Trainings and Workshop.

About Hilot
Hilot is known as the ancient Science and Art of Filipino Healing. Today, it is known not only as a modality that employs chiropractic manipulation and massage for diagnostic and treatment of musculo-ligamentous and musculo skeletal ailments, such as resetting dislocated and sprained joints, but now Hilot is known as a Holistic System of Filipino healing arts and sciences that uses Halaman (herbs), Init (Heat), Liwanag (Light), Orasyon (Therapeutic Communication and Time), and Tubig (water) to promote positive well-being of the people.
Hilot offers healing not only to the physical health of an individual but also it heals the person intellectually, emotionally, socially and spiritually (Health, intellect, love life/ relationship, occupation and tenure). Thus hilot becomes a healing, initiating, life changing operable therapies. It provides the virtues of hope, inspiration, love, optimism and trust between the recipient and the Hilot provider. Hilot heals the symptoms of Hangin, Init, Lamig that makes the body ill and at the same time can help relieve the person with pilay ipit ugat condition & pilay bali (dislocation).
Today as we redefine Hilot, it becomes the General practice of Holistic Healthcare in the Philippines that been passed down to us by our Ancestors throughout the Generation past in Diagnostic and Treatment of Physical, Mental, Emotional, Social and Spiritual Illness employing the use of herbs, heat, light, and other forces of nature in maintaining and preservation of life force within so as in prevention of illness and promotion of optimum health and wellbeing and to the rehabilitation and restoration of balance and harmony among individual.

The Founder/ Chief Executive Officer
Rev. Rolando G. Comon a.k.a. Apu Adman is the Founder and Chief Priest of Luntiang Aghama Natural Divine Arts Shrine of Healing Inc. which is a religious organization in the Philippines that devotes in the study and practice of Traditional Indigenous Religion, Spirituality and Healing Modalities.
Aside from living a religious life, Apu Adman is also an Traditional and Alternative Medicine Professional, TESDA Certified Accredited Trainer and Assessor in Hilot Wellness Massage NC II.
Apu Adman is a dedicated Member of the Correllian Order of Peace Weaver and the administrator of Peace Prayer Interfaith Ministry.
Apu Adman works as the Former Training Director of Philippine Japan Hilot Association Inc. ( 2011-2013); President of Philippine Certified Wellness Therapist Association Inc. (2009-2011); Kasama Member of Philippine Wellness and Spa Association (2010-2012), and on 2016 he registered Hilot Academy of Binabaylan to Philippine Department of Trade and Industry.
