Prevention is better than cure specially right now when there is no cure for 2019 Coronavirus Disease (Covid 19). Since there are no known cure for this new disease but it’s symptoms are already known as it can be found published on the internet and news media.

The Symptoms for this disease are:

• Runny nose

• Fough
• Fever
• and difficulty in breathing (severe cases)

The symptoms are known already so we must prevent to have one of those listed symptoms. World Health Organization have released an advice on how we can protect our selves being contaminated with this new virus.

It is said that cleaning our hands with soap and water or hand sanitizer will kill the viruses that are present in our hands. We must cover our mouth when coughing or sneezing then sanitize again our hands to prevent the spread of contamination.

The main public scare here is when a person sneeze or cough, people will think that you are infected with Coronavirus. And with that Social Distancing of 3 feet apart are advised so that we can avoid contamination.

Again we are warned to distance our selves to the persons with cough and fever. So at this moment, when you have cough and fever you will be likely a scare bomb to the public. With this we must take care of ourselves and strengthen our immune system so that we do not get sick.

World Health Organization have identified Coronaviruses as Large family of viruses that cause illness ranging from common cold to more severe diseases such as Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS-CoV) which they identify to be transmited to humans from Civet Cat and the Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS- Cov) which was transmited to humans from dromedary camels.

According to World Health Organization, Coronaviruses (CoV) are a large family of viruses that cause illness ranging from the common cold to more severe diseases such as Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS-CoV) and Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS-CoV). A novel coronavirus (nCoV) is a new strain that has not been previously identified in humans.  

Coronaviruses are zoonotic, meaning they are transmitted between animals and people.  Detailed investigations found that SARS-CoV was transmitted from civet cats to humans and MERS-CoV from dromedary camels to humans. Several known coronaviruses are circulating in animals that have not yet infected humans. 

Common signs of infection include respiratory symptoms, fever, cough, shortness of breath and breathing difficulties. In more severe cases, infection can cause pneumonia, severe acute respiratory syndrome, kidney failure and even death. 

Standard recommendations to prevent infection spread include regular hand washing, covering mouth and nose when coughing and sneezing, thoroughly cooking meat and eggs. Avoid close contact with anyone showing symptoms of respiratory illness such as coughing and sneezing.
