Our Program

Welcome to the New Educational, Professional, and Ministerial Framework of Hilot Academy of Binabaylan

In strict accordance with Joint Resolution No. 2026-07-04—jointly adopted on July 4, 2026, by the Board of Trustees of Templong Anituhan Inc. and Bahay SiAdtala Binabaylan Inc.—Hilot Academy of Binabaylan has officially overhauled its educational structure.

To protect the integrity, dignity, and authenticity of Indigenous Filipino Healing Arts and Sciences, the former Nine-Day Initiatory Hilot Binabaylan Practitioner Program has been permanently discontinued and abolished. It no longer serves as a pathway to any title or rank. To ensure that professional titles reflect true competency, scholarly research, and ethical stewardship rather than mere attendance, we proudly introduce our standardized, multi-tiered educational ladder.

1. The Foundational Gateway: Hilot Binabaylan Alignment Training Program

This program continues as our primary baseline offering for local and international students seeking a structured orientation in traditional health systems.

  • Target Audience: Traditional healers without formal credentials, TESDA Hilot Wellness NC II holders, Massage Therapy NC II holders, Barangay Health Workers (BHWs), and individuals seeking foundational education.
  • Structure: A highly intensive, 20-session progressive curriculum meeting weekly on Saturdays and/or Sundays from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
  • Curriculum Summary: Takes students sequentially from history, ethics, legal policies (RA 8423), and basic musculoskeletal anatomy, through esoteric diagnostics (TAWAS, 7-soul cosmology), biometrics vs. Himulsuhan (radial pulse analysis), specialized therapies (Suob, Paligo, Dagdagay, Pagsasala, Bentusa, Tawak, Tandok), and the five elemental strokes, culminating in a supervised clinical internship and graduation.
