Doing our part

For some, voting for local official is just a waste of time; but for me it is worth spending time and effort in doing so. My vote equates to the welfare of our Nation.

As Hilot, we value our hands in healing people illness; and with our hands during election time we are healing our land by voting.

It is not only our hand that works in writing the name of the local officials in the ballot paper but also our mind and our heart.

In giving massage, we have taught that our hands is the extension of our heart and our mind; so as during election it is our hand that writes and it becomes the voice of our heart and our mind to elect the right person to govern our community.

This is what my father have given to me so as my ancestors. People of all colors will benefit to my vote, not only the officials that i elected nor the constituent of our barangay but also to all foreigners who desire to experience living with us.

If you think that Barangay Election is not so important, then think again. Our barangay system has also the executive, legislative and judicial function. Through the welfare of our Barangay the City/ Municipal Government move, so as the provincial, regional and national government.

It is through the Barangay the national government was formed, and without a single Barangay there will be no municipality, city, province or even a nation.

I am 40

10th of May 1978 when i was born. I am the second child and only son from the 4 children of Rolando Dolar Comon and Raquel Payco Gomez and this year i turned 40.

I have no idea that i will have a party celebration on my birthday but this year is so much special. I only intend to have a solitary ritual of rededication to my Spiritual Practice as Hilot Binabaylan but my friends, students and co advocates have prepared a surprise party on this day.

Doc Kit Enrile my fellow advocate and tala light worker is the head organizer of this surprise party.

These amazing people gave thier time and energy to make this party posible. They even invited my biological sisters Joan and Emery as a surprise gift to me.

And Ryah or Dayang Uli Gala of Viena, Austria have bought me a Birthday Cake.

Plus a lot of food and drinks we share together on my special day.

And on social media, i also recieved numerous birthday greetings around the world.

I am so thankful for all the love you have given to me specially from Lakay Magbaya, Ernest Nieves, Doc Kit Enrile, Roselyn Luna, Jho Huya, Rustom Licuanan, Angel Ching, Wani Pilar and the rest of Kaduwa Movers.

Maraming Salamat Po!

Conquering our Limitation

As we define the work of Hilot Binabaylan, we walk between the 9 worlds as the word “Binabaylan” suggest which means the one who walks along the shore (baybayin).

Hilot is an amazing modality that is not limited in the form of massage (physical medicine) but it also use Bio Energy Medicine in treating patients even on distant shore.

Apu Adman joined by Dayang Simoy Amihan (Ms. Verma Zapanta) in sending healing energy to a client that lives in Canada.

Dayang Simoy Amihan asked Apu Adman to perform Distant Pagpag Ritual Healing to her friend that lives in Canada. The person involve in this healing ritual is a Cultural artist that lose her motivation in life in being productive thus affecting her physical and social wellness.

Apu Adman with the assitance of Dayang Amihan lifted up the intention of healing as we call forth for the soul of the client to return and bring forth Blessings into her life.

After a day, Simoy Amihan recieved a report from her friend that tell:

Indeed, the power of Hilot can cross the bounderies of time and space to bring healing to everyone who will need it.

Dayang Simoy Amihan as she bless her friend with possitive energy and good health.

The Journey of Austrian Pinay Hilot

I have met an Austrian Pinoy named Ryah last year in Siquijor. She is with a group of Austrian Pinoy traveling in the Philippines to experience the magick and healing of our Native Land. For about a year, she reaches out to us specially to Lakay Alsent Magbaya Aghama to express her interest in learning Hilot with us in the Academy. Then on April 13, 2018- we fetch Ms. Ryah at SM North Edsa and brought her to our temporary home at Kingspoint Subdivision to start her formal training in Hilot Binabaylan and her journey to the world of Healers began.

We started with setting of expectations and goals in learning Hilot by asking her what she knows about hilot and her response made me glad. She knows that Hilot is not just a Massage but it is about the spirituality of Man. As i have discussion with her that indeed as Filipino Traditional Healer we believe that the Life of Man came from the Divine Spirit and the health, illness and wellness is the result of how man do live their lives.

As her first lesson in Hilot, we have shared to her the knowledge of Baybayin and its use in determining the personality of the Client/Patient through the Sibulan Adlaw Oracle technique that been developed by Lakay Alsent Magbaya Aghama.

Then we do the Egg, Candle and Paper Tawas as a method of Hilot Scanning or Spiritual Diagnosis in the determining the Psycho Emotional Health of the Client.

We have shared also to Ryah the technique on sensing the BioEnergy Magnetic Field or Auric Field of a person also on how to strengthen it by conducting Pagpag at pahipo dampi ritual.

And finally we come to the part of Pulse Reading analysis where we learn how to listen to our internal organs and do hilot masahe.

Spending time with Ryah and sharing our knowledge of Philippine Traditional Healing is a precious moment that we will treasure. Hoping to welcome you back into our Academy as your second home in the Philippines.

The Journey of a FilAm Hilot

It was April 17, 2017 when i recieved a notification comment in one of our post here at Hilot Academy that comes from a FilAm Girl of San Francisco, California, USA that is a secondary school teacher and her Name is Verma.

Verma took the Hilot Binabaylan Certification course when she came to the Philippines last July 2017 and had successfully completed her training as Binabaylan Hilot.

She took her Hilot Training in our previous location which is at One Santillan Place, Brgy. Pio del Pilar, Makati City.

And this year, the Academy welcomes her back as she continues her study to improve her skills as Hilot Binabaylan. We started our continuing education first by giving her the opportunity to welcome and pass the certificate of completion to a Austrian Pinay Hilot Binabaylan of Viena which is Ms. Ryah Pas.

Then she took lessons on Baybayin as her guidance for Kilubansa Elemental Name emergetic balance analysis and determining the client/patient life purpose.

We also have shared to her the Art of Tawas using candle, egg and paper which is our Traditional Spiritual Diagnostic Method. In Hilot we believe that the Mind concieves life and all things started from it. So we treat the unseen forces first before it come to manifest into the Physical Plane of Existence. By doing Tawas, we as Hilot Binabaylan we are harmonizing our 7 souls to our physical body which is the core vessel our owm spirit. Through Tawas we help individual to learn and recognize their life purpose that they may enjoy wellness.

Ryah, Lakay and Verma as she does the reading

Then after tawas of course it needed to perform the pagpag at pahipo dampi ritual to strengthen the auric field of the client.

And as our last activity we have shared to her the techniques on fertility hilot for male and female to help the couple to conceive a child. The video below only shows head and facial hilot as primary ritual in doing fertility hilot.

Then the time has come to award all of her effort in her Continuing Education as Binabaylan Hilot, given on the 4th day of May 2018-indeed may the 4th be with you!

Prayer in Action: The Hilot Orasyon way

When we think of Prayer, we usually think of it as spoken words addressed to divinity and only the religious could pray. But prayer is not always like that. Prayers can be done by everyone and it could be done by action.

The ways of Hilot such as the Pagpag Exorcism Ritual are a perfect example of Prayer in Action. Prayer is a form of Spiritual Development that could also be used in healing.

As Hilot, we believe that all life comes from the Divine and maintaining life is the sacred duty of all beings and prayer is a means of strengthening of connection with the Divine which is the source of Life.

Lana: Distilled Coconut Oil Making

We are cooking Lana last time with Miss Ryah, a Filipina by Birth but raised up in Viena, Austria. Every year she makes pilgrimage way back home to the Philippines to strengthen her comnection to her roots.

On this years journey, she enrolled to study Hilot Binabaylan with us and learn to make Lana Coconut Oil to be used for her healing works.

As we make the lana, we have recited the myth why there is coconut and also the sacredness of coconut.

As we put to boil the coconut milk into the pan, i started to recite the myth that there were 3 powerful Gods longtime ago in the Philippines. One is Bathalang Maykapal who rules the Earth; then Ulilang Kaluluwa (lonely soul) which is a serpent that lives in the cloud; and Galang Kaluluwa ( wondering soul) who fly over every plane of existence.

One day, Ulilang Kaluluwa who is the flyimg serpent saw the Earth which Bathalang Maykapal is the ruler. He challenge Bathala for a fight for rulership but unfortunately Ulilang Kaluluwa lose the fight and died. As good ruler of the Earth, Bathala gave an honorable burial to Ulilang Kaluluwa.

Then after a few years, the Friendly Galang Kaluluwa went on Earth to Visit Bathala and stayed with him. As Galang Kaluluwa stay with Bathala,he became weak and died. So Bathala again buried Galang Kaluluwa to the grave where he also buried Ulilang Kaluluwa.

After few days, Bathala notice that there is a tree that grew on the grave where he buried Galang Kaluluwa anh Ulilang Kaluluwa. The body of the Tree looks like the serpentine body of Ulilang Kaluluwa and the leaves of the tree looks like the wings of Galang Kaluluwa and when Bathala open the fruit of the tree, it looks like a head with two eyes and a mouth. And the tree that grows in the grave of Ulilang Kaluluwa ang Galang Kaluluwa is now we know as the Coconut Tree.
