Our very First New Year at our Training Center

February 2023, I made a call for fund raising in helping us construct our Training Center in Taguig. And fortunately by April, we started our first Hilot Binabaylan Training which produced 6 graduates that can competently provide Hilot Treatment to the countries they came from. And as 2023 ends, we have decided to welcome the New Year at Bahay SiAdTala.

Together with Lakay’s Family, I invited my siblings over Bahay SiAdTala to welcome 2024 and celebrated whole night long. And on daytime, we went Galivanting at Bonifacio Global City and experience little Italy through the Gondola Boat at Venice Grand Canal Mall. As a saying that what you do on the first day of the year, it will be the same thing that will happen throughout the year. I’m glad that I have celebrate it with my siblings and for the whole year we are going to have more galivanting moments.

But, now its the 3rd day of January and this means work and classes have resumed. So, with these I want to inform everyone that our 1st day of class this 2024 will start on January 18 up to January 27, 2024. This will be a 9 days class of Hilot Binabaylan, Remedial Hilot and Sibulan Adlaw Tala Baybayin Mystic Oracle Training. Then our next class will open on the following dates:

February 5-14, 2024 which will be a 9 days class; then followed on
March 19-27, 2024 which is an 8 days class; then on
April 12-21, 2024 which will be a 9 days class that consist of Hilot Binabaylan, Remedial Hilot and SiAdTala Baybayin Mystic Oracle Attunement.

May 2024 is still vacant, but we plan to attend the Fertility Festival in Obando, Bulacan and that will happen on May 17,18 & 19, 2024.

So if you plan to join us on that 3 days Fertility Street Dancing Activity on the narrow street of Obando, Bulacan let us know so that we can include you in our Hotel Booking nearby which is either in Valenzuela City, Malabon or in Munumento. And as a side trip, we can visit the famous Tugatog Cementery.

The month of May is a special month to me as it is my Birth Month and this year, I will turn 46 years old. Though I am in my middle age and have suffered early from stroke. But the last year of 2023 is a real blessings as i have overcome the limitations it bring as the world breaks free from Pandemic. And I believe that 2024 will bring more blessings, so I hope that you could join us as we journey to this life Adventure.

And talking about adventure, we plan to deliver an Interfaith Prayer in continues Healing of the Philippines on June 12, 2024 in celebration of 126 years of Declaration of Philippine Independence that we usually observe by performing the Freedom Redemption: Blessings all the nations of the world. And we will also attempt to manifest our long time dream to deliver an Interfaith Prayer during the Philippine President State of the Nation Address that usually happen on the 4th Monday of July and this year it will happen on July 22, 2024. And as we complete this mission, we will fly to Danville Calfornia from July 24- up to September 10, 2024 to conduct Hilot Training there.

And to all our graduates, we will also offer continuing education program while we are there and we will provide the 12 days Hilot Diagnostics and Treatment Continuing Study Program that will give mastery on your basic Hilot Binabaylan Skills that will allow you determine and perform treatment program as you make diagnostic either with the use of Tawas, Kilubansa and/or Pulse Reading.

Year 2023 has been a door opener for all of us as it allows us all to break out from the sting of Pandemic and release us all from the limitations of Lock Down. Within this year we as pandemic end up, we also end our Online Class to allow Face 2 Face and In Person Classes to happen.

And our Buena Mano for this year is Lani Brown from Corona, California. Lani Brown took the Non-Contact Hilot: Mind and Spirit work in mastering our Philippine Traditional Diagnostic & Divination System. In our online class she was initiated to perform Tawas sa Papel and Tawas sa Itlog so as the Healing Art of Kilubansa that includes conducting Ritual of Pagpag Taboy and Pauli Dampi. She was also introduced to the Art of Pulse Reading Analysis during the Online Class. And when she came in the Philippines to learn Hilot Binabaylan. We have gladly share to her all the techniques that will equip her in providing Hilot Treatment such as the Hilot Cleansing Rituals, other Hilot Diagnostic Method, Hilot Treatments and Basic Hilot Herbal Supplementation.

By February, 2 Australian Besties came to us and took the Masidhing Kamagaral Class. One came from Queensland, Australia which is Argo Theoharis and the other is Nawa Sybico from Tazmania, Australia. Masidhi Hilot Training is a 3 days orientation class that trains them to perform tawas, suob, bentusa and basic hilot touch manipulation techniques. We conducted their Training at International Insitute of Rural Reconstruction in Brgy. Biga 2, Silang, Cavite, Philippines.

Then on March, Hilot Hands from London came to visit us in the Shrine as she reach out to us and ask for our Blessings to establish school in London on which School of Kapwa was established. Jutheanne Cruz was lone Filipino providing Hilot in London and dream of training people that will provide Hilot Treatment. In her one-day visit, we provide her quick lesson review on our Traditional Hilot Binabaylan method, it’s just like a refresher course to her so that she could Identify what is authentic Hilot into modernized and westernized form. We are Praying for the Success of School of Kapwa as Hilot in London is already accredited as a Diploma Course.

An on April, we started to utilize Bahay SiAdTala in Taguig which was newly constructed, and it was very convenient as it is near the airport that we could easily pick up our traveling students from the airport and book them their room accommodations at CPG Estate Goldbergs Hotel in Brgy. South Signal Village Taguig. From April to December, Red Doorz Hotel or CPG Estate Goldbergs Hotel have become a home of our students. So that after training, they could have a comfortable bed to rest. Their room is fully airconditioned and has Wi-Fi access; and their bathroom has hot and cold shower. And every morning we pick them up in their hotel through an Ebike and bring them to our training center for their breakfast and send them back after Dinner.

April was the Busiest Class as we accommodate Maria Bustamante, Grace Mabulay and Kai Pfiefer; then after them we also welcome Carolina Nimmer. In their class, we have found a different effect of Hilot as they experience it as Hilot Touch could resurface the emotional pain from their past traumas and even in their past life. Indeed, that the Healing Art of Hilot always amaze me as we continue to embrace and promote it for the future generations.

Then on May 10- the day of my Birthday, we have picked up Kira Tejada at the Airport from Canada. Kira is a Tattoo Artist and has an ancestry from Aklan. It is amazing that in this present age, all the healing modalities of Hilot that has been broken down in the past due to persecution and conversion to Catholicism are now being brought back together and be known as Hilot Binabaylan as we reintroduce it back to the World.

I though Kira will be the last student for the year, but Christine came by July 11-20 and took the 9 days Hilot Binabaylan, Remedial Hilot & SiAdTala Baybayin Mystic Oracle Training. And what I did not realize, Christine’s full name is Quynh Vy Cao as she mentioned that she was born in the US and currently work in Vietnam, but in reality, she was a Vietnamese- American. Since many who comes to us are Filipino with foreign blood, but Quynh Vy is a Vietnamese- American that has a big Heart for the Filipino. Her Hilot Training with us re affirms our Hilot Principle that in Healing, we do not discriminate, we provide our service to everyone whether they are male/female or any gender identity/orientation/expression, nationality, religion, political affiliation, age, etc. Through Quynh Vy, i have learned also some vietnamese culture and see the similarity that we have from each other. It is trully a Blessings for us to know diffirent cultures and tradition as we also share to the world the Healing power of Hilot. It is truly #TouchtheworldwithHilot and #HealTheWorldWithHilot. And on the Day of her graduation, I was very glad, because our first initiate and Graduate of Hilot that was named as Dayang Simoy Amihan or Verma Zapanta, visited us to pay respect and introduced to us his Boyfriend now his Husband named Harvey Lozada.

And lastly by September, Rio Heradura who is graduate of our Non Contact Hilot Mind and Spirit Class from London came to take the Maaram Hilot Training which is a 2 day orientation workshop on the practice of Hilot. I am so blessed that the ones that I meet online during the pandemic, now I have meet in person. It is my perpetual gratitude to everyone for continuously supporting our efforts in preserving and promoting our very own Ancestral Healing Tradition. As I promise that I will stand firm and continue this work and bring it along as we enter the new Year of 2024.

And with that being said, let me just announce as well that our 8 days and 9 days Hilot Binabaylan Training will only be available by January to June 2024 because me and Lakay will go to Danville, California, USA by July to September with our Sister Maria Haswell as she will host us in conducting Hilot Binabaylan Training in the US. So, by January 2024, me and Lakay will process out our Visa Application that we can surely come to the US by July. CPG Estate Goldsberg Hotel: Our Learning Partner

Since April 6, 2023- Red Doorz CPG Estate Goldberg Hotel has been a learning partner with us as they become our official hotel accommodation for our Students who comes in Diaspora.

As you enroll with us to our 8 days Hilot Binabaylan Training, aside from getting reconnected to our Culture and Tradition, you will be able to experience the Hospitality of Red Doors Goldberg Hotel. As you can see they have clean and comfortable bed, airconditioned room, Cabled Smart TV, WIFI Connected, Hot Shower and Toilet, plus abundant supply of hot and cold drinking water. But your food will be on us 5 times a day during the duration of your Training with us, that means breakfast, snack, lunch, snack and dinner will be on us as you enroll to our Training Program.

The Journey in becoming a Hilot Binabaylan

It was April 5 when me and Lakay went to Naia Terminal 3 to fetch up our student who will take the Journey in becoming a Hilot Binabaylan. When everyone already has checked in, we have passed their Training companion manual and had dinner together.

During our first dinner together, I asked them to make their first expression to one another which aims to test their abilities in scanning personality through physiognomy or reading person’s facial expression which a manghihilot commonly utilize in understanding the persons/client situation or problem, which turned out that each one of them has natural gifts of physiognomy.

We start our first day of class with the demonstration of our innate power through levitation and body stiffening which Lakay have facilitated. Everyone was amazed by knowing that each of us has this natural ability, on this exercise, we have emphasized that through the use of our mind we could direct our energies toward other people in either creating beneficial change or destructive suffering. After doing these exercises, i have shown them videos of how local healers doing exorcism and have asked them question about doing harm to our patients and how we could verify that the illness is brought by black magick and elemental spirits and whether mental conditioning is a crime. Here we emphasize that as Manghihilot we must also know how to make judgement and must be very careful on not influencing the mind of the client to believe that they are under attack by evil spirits, nature spirits or even ancestral spirits. So, with that we have demonstrated different methods of Tawas Spiritual Diagnosis as our ancestors believed that Physical Illness may originate from the Spiritual Realms.

For four days, we have focused our Energies in reorienting these wonderful souls to the Spiritual Realms and have emphasized the role of the Sprits in our Lives. After they have fully oriented to their own Spirits, our Deep healing works have begun as we start it off with Hilot Cleansing Rituals.

This journey that we had have turned our Training room into an Operating Room instead of Learning Activity Area, as each one of them have received their personal healing and also was initiated to their own roles while Healing Session has been conducted. I, myself have been surprised to what Hilot can do to an Individual, as I thought that it only touch the superficial level of the individual but it was able to pass through the Soul level that it heal past trauma’s and Generational DisEase. Instead of Temporal Relief, this group of learners have been able to confront their Bitter truth and tranform it into Sweet Reality which they themselves will create in their lives.

Through all the experiences they had with us here in Hilot Academy of Binabaylan, and passed all the challenges they had, I am proudly to present to everyone our Newest Hilot Binabaylan that could be of service to you!

All I thought it was impossible to do it. In my mind I doubt of making it Happen to compress the following lessons in just 8 Hours from 9:00 am to 5:00 PM. And the lessons we took up are the following:

Definition, Origins and Hilot Treatment Methodologies; Basic Hilot Diagnostic that focus on Pulse Reading, Kapa and Salat; Discussion of Hilot Cleansing Rituals that focus on Suob; Dagdagay/Kulis Traditional Stick Foot Massage; Performing Tandok/Bentusa Fire Cupping; Pagsasala and Basic Hilot Touch Manipulation Techniques.

Due to limited time of our Friend from London, She was able to spend 8 hours with us learning the some of the concepts of Hilot Binabaylan, and I wrote it down in her handout the work expectation of what a Hilot Binabaylan do.

As Hilot Binabaylan, one must be proficient in the following areas:

Diagnostic -performing Tawas Spiritual Diagnosis for the illness caused by the Spirits which affects the Mind and Emotion; Pulse Reading and Hilot Physical Assessment and Evaluation through Pagsasala/Panghihila, Pakapa and Pasalat.
Psycho/Emotional Counseling or Hilot Orasyon through Tawas Divination, Kilubansa Elemental Name Energetic Balance Analysis, and Siadtala Baybayin Mystic Oracle.
Physical Treatment through employment of different Hilot Treatment modalities such as Hilot Cleansing Rituals of Pagbababad, Pagpupunas, Paghihilod, Pagbabalot, Pagsusuob, Pagbabanlaw and Pagpapalina; Traditional Filipino Foot Stick Massage (Dagdagay/Kulis); Tandok/ Bentusa Fire Cupping; Pagpapahid (Wellness Massage).
Supplementation of Herbal Medicine such as in herbal tea, tablets, syrups, baths and so on.

And in between classes, we have a lot of chat that it seems we are redeeming each moment that we have together that we also forgot to have a toilet break. But at least we didn’t forget to have lunch. I am confident enough that she could pass all the knowledge I share as she establish Hilot Hands Academy in London. But this one day course is just an Introductory lessons as she will come back again to sharpen up her skills and not just theory as we have talked for 8 hours. Here are some of the activities that we had yesterday.

By the way, you could also ask for this one day training which is an Introductory Course on becoming a Hilot Binabaylan which we provide a Comprehensive overview of what is expected from you if you take the intensive course on Hilot ng Aghamang Binabaylan for 8 days or the Masidhi Hilot Training for 3 days.

We will be holding 2 sessions of the 8 days training the first one will happen on April 6 to 13 then next batch will be on April 16-23, 2023. We are going to conduct this on our new Training Center at Taguig City.

A new Manghihilot was created for Australia

3 days is already over and we started it out with a Great Meal and on our table we only not share food but also the stories of our life. I am very happy that these people enjoys great food such as I am as we love to make our lessons like a festival as how many food has been placed on our Table so as the lessons they will learn from us here at Hilot Academy. Though we are just renting for our Training Venue but I pray that soon enough, we will be able to own a Place where you can stay and learn from us. Our first official lesson started with nature walk to introduce them to the Spirit of the place and also to greet this Big Tree that stands firm inside the compound of International Institute of Rural Reconstruction which is at Brgy. Biga 2, Silang, Cavite, Philippines.

Then I asked them to pick any herbs that seems they are attracted to and have called them.

Through this I showed them how our ancestors determine which plants to use in healing as the plants can talk to us. Indeed, it is amazing that our ancestors have these special abilities to communicate to almost everything aside from human beings that has the ability of speech. But if we attune ourselves that all the creations in this world are all equal and we learn how to respect them, the boundaries that separate us from them will be lifted and we will be able to know what they are saying unto us.

During this class, I have emphasized that Hilot is about Communication and us as Manghihilot are opening up ourselves to receive and understand the messages that is being communicated unto us either by nature or by our inner selves.

Tawas is a Hilot Technique that enable us to become a mediator of the person between their present life to their past life. It is an important tool in a form of Ritual so that we can ease up the situation of our patient in unloading all the burden they might be carrying all along. We have seen it through our Masidhing Manghihilot, all they thought that they are being afflicted by Mangkukulam, but when we release them from Tawas, they learned that it was just an emotional baggage that they are carrying for a long time.

I am very proud that after 3 days, we have able to create a New Manghihilot that will serve the people in Australia. One in Queensland and the other in Tazmania. Congratulations and Welcome to the Path of our Race!

Being a Manghihilot

Yesterday-January 21, 2023 was our 6th day of Hilot Training at International Institute of Rural Reconstruction as a Venue and we did a Question and Answer Session regarding some health issues and discuss the possible Hilot Treatment procedures.

In starting the session, I gave each individual a 4a piece of paper and cut it into 8 pcs. So each participants will write 8 specific questions containing possible health issues that they may encounter in their practice of Hilot. As we finish writing our questions on the paper we fold it and place it inside a box. And will pick one and read it aloud to discuss the possible Hilot Treatment Plan we are going to employ,

We only have limited time as we do this from 9:00 am to 10:00 am so that we can perform other things. These activity trains the student to handle clients with different health issues by activating their critical thinking ability to analyze the situations and determining appropriate Hilot Treatment procedures that could help their client to have cure.

The application of Hilot Treatment may vary as Traditional Filipino Illness may manifest into the Physical, Emotional, Mental, Social and even Spiritual aspect of the person. So the Hilot Treatment procedures are not only limited in giving Massage but may also require the applications of other Hilot Treatment Techniques such as Pagtatawas as Diagnostic, Pagpag/ Pauli Ritual, Pagbababad/ Banyos, Paghihilod, Pagbabalot, Pagtatapal, Pagsusuob,Paligo-Banlaw, Palina, Dagdagay, Pagsasala, Bentusa/ Tandok, Pagpupunas, Pahid, Haplos, Himas, Pindot, Hagod, Pisil, Piga and other Hilot Touch Manipulations technique such as kamot, kurot, yugyog, tulak, hila, dagan and kayod.

We also have talked about dissecting each Hilot Treatment methodologies and their origins. And as we look at each treatment methodologies employed in Hilot Treatment, we could say that all of it maybe an adoption of our ancestors from foreigners who come into our land out of the trade relations of the Philippines towards other countries that came to us such as the application of Bentusa which may come from the Greeks or Persia; Dagdagay as it employs reflexology; the Pagpapahid as it looks similar to Abyangha, and so on.

There was a point in time that I remember that Filipino were known before as imitators as whatever saw from the west that is trending, we mimic it and imitate. But this was not the case, as Human needs are the same specially in terms of maintain health and wellness. As I embrace harder the Art and Science of Hilot, what I learned is that the Healing Principles of Hilot does not comes from the Technique that we use, but through the Behavior that we observe in performing these modality.

Hilot is about the Quality of Care that we provide and not about the technique we employ; it is also through the emotions we share and not about being patriotic but it is about our connection to the land and it’s nature.

Being a Manhihilot in Diaspora does not mean that you have to grow all the plants that is endemic in the Philippines. That you as Manghihilot living in the United States or wherever country you are in the world needs to import all the Healing Herbs that you can find in the Philippines; but being a Manghihilot in Diaspora is about connecting with the plant medicine that grows in your own yard, in your neighborhood, in the country where you live right now.

It is a good idea that you being a person living in diaspora could support our local manghihilot by importing our products that will give us revenue. And that is only good for us, but it maybe harmful to our land as we tend to over harvest because of the international demands. And over harvesting is not Hilot, it is already about commerce and capitalism. Our Hilot is not about earning a lot of money, though we also need to earn, as we ourselves are in this world that is governed by money. We still have our bills that we need to pay, and this is what the energy exhange is for. You are paying us for the service you get from us to be a better person, and the money you give make us to be able to pay for the responsibilities we have on the technical services we obtain from electric company, water company, internet providers and so on.

For me, I dont have Children to send to schools. But we have charities to help in sending people to school. So this is the reason also that we exert effort in doing this work. As hilot is not only in making people feel better about their physical body but also in their lives.

Colonial Mentality vs. Talangka Mentality

As Hilot Practitioners in the Philippines, the problem we face here is that People don’t give much value to our profession and instead go to Luxurious Spa to be pampered. But when they do not have money and is really sick they will go to be treated by a Manghihilot and expect it to be free or just cheap. And those who embrace Alternative Medicine, they rather want to spend their money enrolling on Acupuncture, Chiropractic, Naturopathy and Homeopathy rather than Learning our very own Healing Arts and Science. So as in Massage rather learning pagpapahid they instead learn Swedish, Thai, Shiatsu and so on. People here will give value when the modality comes from the west. It is evident enough that even the Religion that our Kababayan practices comes from our Colonizer which is Catholicism and even before that the Religion of Islam which also comes to the West.

No one loves their own but when an Individual goes abroad, from then they will realize the value of our own Culture and Tradition. Such as what is going to Happen now that a Hilot School will be established in London. I know many of our kababayan will react that it is not authentic but a Fraud. But I guarantee everyone that it is not because Hilot Academy of Binabaylan will be part of it.

When I started Hilot Academy of Binabaylan, I worked with my Japanese Ex- Wife that we even have established Hilot School in Japan which is the Yamahata Academy of Philippine Hilot which is in Hokaido and now in Ebisu, Tokyo, Japan. Our intention is to introduce Hilot to Japanese people so as to provide Holistic Healing method that will deal with Psycho-Emotional issues that affects the Physical Health of the Japanese people.

Now as Hilot getting popular, We aim to introduce Hilot Great Britain and United Kingdom to heal their Generational Trauma through our Binabaylang Siadtala Dayang Alab Sikat’s HilotHands.

Being one of our own, Hilot Hands can expect support from us in terms of technical and academic on which we will Guarantee that the Hilot in London will be Authentically Filipino as we work out to obtain Philippine Government Approval. Consider Hilot Hands to be an extension of Hilot Academy that has a solid structure to learn our very own Ancestral Healing Arts and Science.

So by 2023, we expect that 2 school of Hilot will rise, the First one is the Hilot Philippines Development center and Hilot Hand School in London.

Hilot Homecoming!

Last August 25, 2022- me and lakay had an opportunity to have a lunch date with our Hilot Academy Graduates from France and they are a couple name Jeremy Pascal who is an Engineer and a Fermentation Guro who shares to us Water Kerfir Grain that we ferment to become a Pro Biotic Drink and Gerone Pascal who is a Filipina Yoga Teacher. They have taken our Hilot ng Aghamang Binabaylan Class for 9 days face-to-face last September 2019. Gerone and Jeremy were our First Couple who have taken our Face-to-face Hilot Class before the Pandemic.

Lunch date with Gerone and Jeremy after 3 years. Before i used to cook for them now they have treated me with a Great Lunch!

From my experience of Face-to-Face teaching, supposedly as teachers-we are the one who is transferring our technology to our students but having an in person interaction, I as teacher is also learning from them. Of course during their 9 days of staying with us, it is not 24 hours of making Hilot but there are free time we used to relax and do other things. So meeting them again in person brings back the memories i had with them including the time between that day to now. Because, even that they have finished taking the course, our line of communication are very much open in supporting their practice of Hilot.

I feel like I have organically been in the process of becoming manghihilot as my combined chiropractic and energy work practice includes addressing emotional, nutritional and increasingly energetic/spiritual components. Dr. Chris Lipat were among the first who took our online class during the time of Pandemic. Though traditionally Hilot is learned by individual through apprenticeship and should be done face-to-face as healing with hilot requires personal touch that the patient may receive the healing of Hilot. But the Pandemic of Covid 19 have changed this belief that allows me to contemplate deeper on the modalities of Hilot. This why the NCH-MSW class has been born which we teach online how to do tawas. And with the line of expertise of Dr. Chris Lipat, she have manifested to me how energy works not only in face-to-face but also distantly. She also have mentioned yesterday, that usually meeting with other person for the first time has the feeling of being stranger, but since we had been in touch online for how many months, that feeling of being stranger is gone but you have developed trust to one another.

I am grateful for yesterday meeting that I was able to experience the Energy Medicine that Dr. Chris have brought along with her though before meeting i courageously ask Dr. Chris about it because i don’t usually ask that to my students but this time, i acknowledge my current limitations and have asked Dr. Chris Lipat to work on me. And the session that i have received is somewhat life changing experience as it does not only deal with my current health issues but also have opened up a portal that addressed my issues not only to my current past life but also beyond my current life existence.
