Damit Tala

September 11,2018 we went early to the Office of Participatory Governance in Malacañang Palace to demonstrate Philipine Traditional Hilot.

We almost not be able to make it because the Palace Guard wont allow one of my companion to enter the ground because of a strict dress code.

Me and mam nina get panic because of the situation and we search for a nearby store just to buy pants so that we could proceed. But we dont find a store nearby.

But thanks to the Diwata, i’ve been reminded to bring malong. So i ask for a comfort room and we change our clothes there and wear the Damit Tala of Binabaylang Hilot.

Amazingly when we change our clothes, the strict palace guard allows us to enter the ground and honot the clothes we wear with highest respect.

Indeed, in order for Hilot to be respected with highest honor we must present our selves with descency and dignity. As Hilot, we do not just wear anything we want to wear, but we must be identified with highest honor through the clothing we wear.

Here below are some of the adventures we have in Opg, Mabini Hall, Malacañang, Manila.

Helping Hands

Going out of the academy and reaching out for people who needs help is one of the Virtue of a True Hilot. It is not the amount of money that we can recieve but the change life that we could make to the people whom we give our Hilot.

Aside from relieving physical pain, we also to provide relief the emotional and mental trauma our patient have.

By extending our hands to help, our time and effort are also a very precious elements that we could give in order to provide cure to our recipient.

Hilot Forum held

Early this morning i attended a forum on Hilot Wellness Massage by Tesda Trainers and Assessors with regards to the implementing rules and regulation of training and assessment.

The Forum has been called in response to World Health Organization requirements in providing evidence that Hilot is a traditional and natural medicine that could be employed in primary health care.

As graduate of the Academy, i advise everyone to document all cases you handled with your clients. Record the development and improvement of their health issues using the modality you have learned. And during the forum we made distinction about hilot vs. massage as it will be applied to k12 program of DepEd and Ched.

So be reminded now that in Hilot we will not ask our client to undress. But will treat client with their clothes on and only expose the body part that need to be treated. Hilot massage is encouraged to be done on sitting and not lying down on bed.

Chilean Hilot Curador

I an advocate in moving Hilot to be recognize as the Traditional and Natural Medicine in the Philippines. This healing modality that we Filipino have is a National Treasure that we could be proud off. Though many people still have little understanding of what Hilot is all about, there should be someone from us need to stand to tell what real Hilot is all about.

Hilot as i always tell and becomes my battle cry that it is not a Massage but it is our very own Traditional and Natural Medicine in the Philippines; and when it is studied by a non Filipino it becomes Alternative and Natural Medicine.

As an advocate of Hilot in order for my message to be heard, i need to teach Hilot for a cost in order for Hilot to be popularized again. Spa and Massage center are giving Hilot a wrong reputation by making hilot like massage. Now-a-days even the freelance massuers claims to be a Hilot and even some massage professionals obtain National Certificate for Hilot Wellness Massage but not the Traditional and Natural Medicine itself.

Today, i am so proud to say to the world that our Hilot Binabaylan have produced a new practitioner that is native of Santiago, Chile and her name is Bernardita Montero.

Bernardita Montero or Ita as she want to be called is a Chilean Theater Artist, Dancer and a massage provider. She traveled to the Philippines to enhance her knowledge and skills in Natural Healing Arts and Science.

Ita took a course with us and become proficient in Pulse Reading, Tawas, Hilot Hygiene, Pagsasala, Bentusa and MasaHilot.

Bienvenido Ita!

Today is the first day of our Hilot Binabaylan Training for a Chilean National that will be our first Hilot Binabaylan who will serve the Republic of Chile.

Chile is a South American country with its capital and largest city known is Santiago. Chilean Nationals speak Spanish that makes Bernardita to be the First Chilean Hilot Binabaylan and second Spanish Speaking Hilot Curador.

Bernardita also known as Ita is a Chilean Actress, Dancer and Massuer. She studied Theater Arts and has compassion for Children that has Cancer.

On her first day, Ita works with Bonn Monzon our Sound Healer in doing Pulse Reading Analysis.

It is nice to see that the popularity of Hilot draws all nationality around the world to learn our very own Traditional Medicine and Ancient Healing Arts and Science.

Conquering our Limitation

As we define the work of Hilot Binabaylan, we walk between the 9 worlds as the word “Binabaylan” suggest which means the one who walks along the shore (baybayin).

Hilot is an amazing modality that is not limited in the form of massage (physical medicine) but it also use Bio Energy Medicine in treating patients even on distant shore.

Apu Adman joined by Dayang Simoy Amihan (Ms. Verma Zapanta) in sending healing energy to a client that lives in Canada.

Dayang Simoy Amihan asked Apu Adman to perform Distant Pagpag Ritual Healing to her friend that lives in Canada. The person involve in this healing ritual is a Cultural artist that lose her motivation in life in being productive thus affecting her physical and social wellness.

Apu Adman with the assitance of Dayang Amihan lifted up the intention of healing as we call forth for the soul of the client to return and bring forth Blessings into her life.

After a day, Simoy Amihan recieved a report from her friend that tell:

Indeed, the power of Hilot can cross the bounderies of time and space to bring healing to everyone who will need it.

Dayang Simoy Amihan as she bless her friend with possitive energy and good health.

The Journey of Austrian Pinay Hilot

I have met an Austrian Pinoy named Ryah last year in Siquijor. She is with a group of Austrian Pinoy traveling in the Philippines to experience the magick and healing of our Native Land. For about a year, she reaches out to us specially to Lakay Alsent Magbaya Aghama to express her interest in learning Hilot with us in the Academy. Then on April 13, 2018- we fetch Ms. Ryah at SM North Edsa and brought her to our temporary home at Kingspoint Subdivision to start her formal training in Hilot Binabaylan and her journey to the world of Healers began.

We started with setting of expectations and goals in learning Hilot by asking her what she knows about hilot and her response made me glad. She knows that Hilot is not just a Massage but it is about the spirituality of Man. As i have discussion with her that indeed as Filipino Traditional Healer we believe that the Life of Man came from the Divine Spirit and the health, illness and wellness is the result of how man do live their lives.

As her first lesson in Hilot, we have shared to her the knowledge of Baybayin and its use in determining the personality of the Client/Patient through the Sibulan Adlaw Oracle technique that been developed by Lakay Alsent Magbaya Aghama.

Then we do the Egg, Candle and Paper Tawas as a method of Hilot Scanning or Spiritual Diagnosis in the determining the Psycho Emotional Health of the Client.

We have shared also to Ryah the technique on sensing the BioEnergy Magnetic Field or Auric Field of a person also on how to strengthen it by conducting Pagpag at pahipo dampi ritual.

And finally we come to the part of Pulse Reading analysis where we learn how to listen to our internal organs and do hilot masahe.

Spending time with Ryah and sharing our knowledge of Philippine Traditional Healing is a precious moment that we will treasure. Hoping to welcome you back into our Academy as your second home in the Philippines.
