Introducing the Hilot Binabaylan Informed Practitioner Competency Certification Program

Learn Traditional Filipino Healing Through Structured Competency-Based Training

The Hilot Academy of Binabaylan (HABI) is pleased to announce the opening of enrollment for the Hilot Binabaylan Informed Practitioner Competency Certification Program, an intensive ten-day educational and skills development program designed for individuals who wish to learn, understand, and competently apply traditional Filipino healing methods within the Hilot Binabaylan framework.

As a ministry and educational institution of Bahay SiAdtala Binabaylan Inc., in spiritual affiliation with Templong Anituhan Inc., the Academy remains committed to preserving and transmitting the knowledge, wisdom, and healing practices of our Indigenous Filipino ancestors through structured education, practical training, and competency assessment.

A New Competency-Based Pathway

The Hilot Binabaylan Informed Practitioner Competency Certification Program reflects the Academy’s updated professional development framework. Rather than serving solely as an introductory training, this program now functions as a competency certification pathway that recognizes demonstrated proficiency in specific Hilot Binabaylan skills and modalities.

Participants undergo a combination of:

  • Classroom instruction
  • Practical demonstrations
  • Supervised hands-on training
  • Return demonstrations
  • Experiential learning activities
  • Institutional competency assessments

Successful participants receive a Certificate of Training and Competency as a Hilot Binabaylan Informed Practitioner and may subsequently apply for registration and licensure with the Hilot Binabaylan Council Inc., subject to its standards and requirements.
