Tawas Workshop on November 25, 2018

Tawas is a folk medicinal method in the Philippines in determining the cause of illness. It incorporates orasyon in asking guidance to reveal the cause of illness whether be it of natural or spiritual cause.

In this workshop we are going to share to everyone the concepts of health, wellness and illness as believed by our ancestors.

We will provide information about the elementals such as the laman lupa, lamandagat and different forms of encanto that is believed to be the bringer of illness and its modern counterpart to the organismal system in the human being.

We will also share the knowledge on the belief of the seven souls and its role in our well being.

Plus you will learn the basic Psychism Techniques of psychometry and symbolism which Mangtatawas utilize in performing the craft.
