It’s our second day of Livelihood Training of Hilot Wellness for Kaduwa Movement Equality through Compassion Inc.

We have talked about the importance of taking client information and its relavance to his/her health condition.

The first technique that been shared is also a form of diagnostic method whereas the practitioner analyze the elements within the name of the patient and determine its energetic balance. Then pulse diagnosis was also shared as one of the important diagnostic tool in determining the cause of illness. After wards we have perform and demonstrated dry hilot sequence or chair back massage.

Kaduwa Habi Hilot Training

Today is the first day of our Free Training of Kaduwa Habi Hilot.

And i am so grateful to have Bro. Oscar Sangalang, a well respected traditional healer in the metro to be one of our student/participant in this batch.

We also have participants from Bulacan, Valenzuela, Quezon City and Cavite. Though just a small group, we look forward to complete the 8 days of training in flying colors

How much is the cost in having hilot? Or let me ask this in reverse, how much is the cost in giving hilot?

First of all, our Hilot is human also that has needs. In order to give hilot, they need to set aside their personal lives so that they can provide quality treatment to each patient. It is their job to make each client/patient to make them feel better not only in Physical condition but also emotional, mental, social amd spiritual aspect of their being. Since it is a Job performed, it must also be a job that should be paid.

Hilot is not just a massage, but it is a holistic treatment system that heals not only the Physical condition but also the emotion,mental, social and spiritual condition. It uses techniques that been spent with a long hours of study before employing it into treatment.

Hilot uses tools that they also pay for it too.

When they study hilot modality, they dont study it for free. They spend thousands of pesos too in order to master their craft. Hilot doesnt give treatment that they do not know how to employ.

Hilot is not just performance of strokes but each movement, procedure and strokes conducted by hilot are well studied movement.

Hilot treatement are not the same treatment for everyone because people are not the same. Each client will recieved different approach in hilot treatment depending on the result of hilot diagnosis to the client.

Even TESDA is guilty about introducing Hilot as a wellness Massage.For everyones information, Hilot is not just Massage but it is a Holistic Indigeneous Learnable Operational Treatment modality. It aims to Heal by harmonizing enhancing and alleviating life of the people.
Hilot uses Halaman, Init, Liwanag, Orasyon and Tubig in their healing modality.
It has a process of thorough client profiling and investigative procedure to determine the client/patients illness (hilot diagnostic/ scanning) ; cleansing procedure (banyos, suob, hilod and paligo); treatment and rehabilitative process.
The medicine used by hilot can be taken as food, drink, applied to the skin or can be worn to the body as ornament.
Hilot is the Traditional and Natural Medicine in the Philippines. Traditional Birth Attendants are also Hilot so as the bone setters.

Hilot our Pride

This page started as Philippine Traditional Hilot Wellness Massage and promoting it as Alternative Medicine. As we start we walk together with PHILIPPINE CERTIFIED WELLNESS THERAPIST ASSOCIATION as our main organization for our Tesda Graduate in Hilot Wellness NC2 and Massage Therapy NC2 until the group was disolve to give way for DoH organization of Licensed Massage Therapist that is PALMT or Philippine Association of Licensed Massage Therapist.

But by 2018, Hilot Academy of Binabaylan will open its door not only for teaching or training but also as membership organization to all Hilot provider in promoting our Modality as Philippine Traditional and Natural Medicine.

Like in other country, we believe Hilot is not just an Alternative Medicine but it is our very own Traditional Medicine.
In this modern age of the Millenials, we almost have lost our own identity as who we are and have neglected the works of our ancestors in co creating this world.
Habi or Hilot Academy of Binabaylan commits in preserving our own culture by Sharing Hilot to the world that will bring us back our own identity as the Children from the Pearl of the Orient as Magiting or Great People.
