Last June 17 to 25, 2016 i had the opportunity to go to Japan through my wife Kayoko Yamahata Comon and from there it is my pleasure to let Japanese People experience what can Hilot give in their life.
So here are some pictures of our Hilot Activity in Japan.
On this blog, i want to talk about stress, depression, freedom and the importance of orasyon or therapeutic communication in taking effect of the healing that been channeled by Hilot to the recipient/student.
As everyone knows, Hilot is the ancient healing arts and science of the Filipino. It is not just a massage but a Holistic approach in healing that employs different methodology to make healing effect to the recipient.
As i work my role as a Hilot, people comes to me carrying a burden in their life. They come either just to relax and have a break from the regular tensions of life or they come for a complete healing from their illnesses.
Since life is characterized by work and movement, it is unavoidable for us to encounter some pressure and stress from the world we are living in. Such as at work, there are some expectations needed to meet so the pressure of meeting that expectations give us some tension and stress.
As a human, we work in a multi level of dimensional areas in life; and our body becomes a vehicle of manifesting the results of our work. Aside from our body, our mind and intellect also does work so as our emotions as well.
The Mind, Body and Emotion works hand and hand in order to create a better result that will satisfy us in meeting our needs.
But when our body is filled with so much tension, our mind and emotion also reacts to the pressure we give to our body. At least our body knows to react through the sensation we percieve from the outside pressure we give as a stimulus.
We sense satisfaction if we percieve a sensation of pleasure but we feel discomfort if we sense too much pressure.
Voicing out what you feel such as pain help the individual to have relief from discomfort, and this is the reason why prior giving Hilot to the reciepient we also perform Tawas.
Tawas is the Traditional Alternative Wellness Analytic System performed by a Hilot Binabaylan in determining the cause of illness and discomfort of the client. By determining the cause of illness, the door of communication has been opened thus the client/ reciepient could voice out his/her mind and emotion to the binabaylan thus knowing what is inside the mind and heart of the client the binabaylan could formulate a cure and strategy on how to give proper hilot to the client.
Binabaylan Hilot is a treatment that could be liberating.
It uses hand strokes manipulation that could break the formed tension inside the body of the client that also extends to the tensions formed in the emotional and mental body.
By clearing the physical, mental and emotional body, the spirit is also cleared and cleansed thus making the client feel renewed and refreshed.
It is so hard to discribe in words what Hilot Binabaylan could give, so it is better that you experience it by your self and feel the liberating power of Hilot in your life.
June 6, 2016 my wife Kayoko gave me a wellness treat, she introduces me to her friend Dr. Nato who is a Chiropractor and Osteopath.
Kayoko goes first in having Dr. Nato’s treatment and the good Doctor allowed me to observe his treatment method.
At first he assessed Kayoko’s standing and walking posture and asked me if she is walking straight. I did’nt notice any problem with my wife not until Dr. Nato ask her to lie on the bed facing down.
Dr. Nato shows me the alignment of Kayoko’s leg to the sole of her feet i was surprised that her foot is not balanced, left foot is shorter than the right foot; then Dr. Nato ask me to flex my wifes leg and i found it tight that it could not flex to touch the heel to her butt; then Dr. Nato press some points near the knee that it seems he was just pressing a remote control button or a keypad of computer and show me that kayoko’s feet now is even.
And to my surprise, it is really now even; and again he press again to demonstrate and the foot is not even again and on the last time just to demonstrat, he fix kayoko’s leg and fit and by that time Kayoko is fine and well with even legs and feet.
After treating Kayoko, its now my turn for the treatment.
Since i have a problem with my right shoulder, Dr. Nato ask me to stand and place both my hands on my back to see the problem, after that he ask me to lie on my side and Mr.Kawamoto made adjustment to my shoulder.
He presses some points on my chest and scoop parts of my scapula and shake it. He does some lifting, rocking and shaking of my shoulders. Its not painful but after the treatment i am really amazed.
The experience with Dr. Nato and Mr. Kawamoto made me not to sleep because of amazement. With this experience i learn that even postural alignment is a disEASE and having balance is necessary in living our life to the fullest.
DisEASE is a limitation to our freedom to enjoy our life and in functioning well of our body and organs.
This experience wakes me up to take care of my body through physical exercise and diet.
Even as a Hilot, i need to be healed also.
And Dr. Nato and Mr. Kawamoto is also a Hilot in the Spirit which the practice of Chiropractor is also one of the lost modality of modern Hilot.
I am dreaming now to make Chiropractice be back to our Hilot Modality.
Just sharing my thoughs about being a Filipino and as a Hilot Binabaylan. When you are in other country such as Japan you will know that they are Japanese because they speak and write using their own language and writing system and if you want to relax and avail of their traditional healing arts, there is Anma Shiatsu; and if you go to Thailand they have Thai Boran.
And if you go to the Philippines and like to have a massage, we could proudly say that we have our own Filipino Traditional Massage which is known as Hilot.
On June 2, 2016- the Hilot Academy team went to Cebu to present Binabaylan Hilot to the CEO/ President of First English Global College Mr. Honda Shoji.
We left manila by 4am and arrived Mactan International Airport by 7am. From the airport we ride Taxi going to Brgy. Soong Mercado to spend the time since we are still early for our 9am Appointment.
Then by 8:45am from Soong Mercado, we met Billy a 15 Year old boy Pedicab Driver who brought us to First English Global College at Vista Mar Subdivision, Dapdap, Lapu Lapu City, Cebu, Philippines.
First English Global College is an English Language School for non English speakers that been manages by a Japanese Corporation reaching out to south east asian developing countries. With regards to that Hilot Academy share it vision of reaching out to the College, since all of us know that Japan is leading in terms of modern technology we in the Academy takes that opportunity to cooperate with the College in helping our neighboring countries for conversational English as well as in promoting our very own Philippine Traditional Hilot.
By 9 AM, we are welcomed by Ms. Sonoda Chiharu an Administrative Staff of the College and greeted by Mr. Honda Shoji. As soon as we met Mr. Honda, we do not waste time so we proceeded immediately to our purpose of presenting Hilot Wellness Massage as one of the Curriculum to be offered in the College.
I, Apu Adman and my Wife Kayoko had a great opportunity of presenting Hilot Binabaylan by treating the CEO/ President himself Mr. Honda Shioji.
We explain first what is Hilot and the procedures it takes in having a treatment. I first demonstrate to Mr. Honda our traditional alternative wellness analytic system (Tawas) by employing the Kilubansa Name Energetic Balance Analysis then followed by traditional diagnosis of Egg Scanning Tawas.
As i explain the method, my wife Kayoko san translate every word i said into Japanese for better understanding of our Audience and everyone was impressed and find that Egg Tawas is an interesting experience.
Then after the Egg Tawas, i did the Banana Leaf Scanning or Pagsasala and Paghihila procedure. The purpose of this is to suck off the toxins in the skins while replacing it with pure Oxygen that is present in the leaf.
And as usual, the Hilot Masahe commenced after Tawas Reading
and lastly after the presentation, we had an opportunity to have a Group Selfie in front of the College.
On May 23, 2016- Hilot Academy of Binabaylan had taken the opportunity to reach out the Staff and Employees of Nurture Wellness Village in Tagaytay through the Peace and Healing Ritual.
Hilot Academy as a member ministry of Luntiang Aghama Natural Divine Arts Shrine of Healing Inc. see the importance of reaching out to the people by providing them a means of looking within them selves through the healing touch of the Binabaylan.
The Mission is an act of compassion by sharing the gift of life through healing and enlightenment.
Habi means weaving aside from being an acronym to Hilot Academy of Binabaylan.
We intentionally want to register the Academy as Hilot Academy of Babaylan International, but when applying for a DTI Business Name it was not approved so we decided to take the name of Hilot Academy of Binabaylan.
On the 5th Day of April 2016 we have obtained our DTI Business Name as i processed it at Lingkod Bayan Center in Robinsons Mall, Malolos, Bulacan.
Then i proceed to have a Barangay Clearance at Brgy. Francisco Homes Narra then City Business Permit at San Jose Del Monte City, Bulacan and our business permit was issued on the 20th of April 2016.
So now its 5th of May, we are going to officially launch this Page by posting this first Blog on our first Monthsary.
