Aside from the work of hilot of pamamahid (massage), the manghihilot is also expected to have the skills of Mamumunla or hebalist where his power of healing is derived.
A Manghihilot must know how to give life to a plant or herbs so that s/he could also be able to maintain and preserve the life of his/her patient/client.
