Course Objectives:
By the end of this course, the enrolled participants will be able to:
- Establish a Ministerial Foundation in Hilot Binabaylan Practice
- Articulate personal goals and expectations in alignment with the spiritual and healing mission of Hilot Binabaylan.
- Understand the historical development, philosophies, and principles of Hilot as a sacred healing art rooted in Filipino Indigenous Spirituality.
- Comprehend the Indigenous Filipino Concepts of Life, Health, Illness, and Wellness
- Analyze the traditional worldview of health and wellness, including the faculties of man and the indigenous health care delivery system.
- Identify and apply various Hilot treatment modalities within a culturally respectful and ethical framework.
- Apply Diagnostic and Analytical Skills in Hilot Practice
- Demonstrate proficiency in Hilot diagnostics including Pasubay, pulse reading, and profiling.
- Interpret the dimensions of reality, planes of existence, and the concept of the 7 souls in relation to health and healing.
- Perform Traditional Hilot Healing Techniques and Rituals
- Conduct cleansing rituals and elemental touch manipulations including dagdagay, kulis, bentusa, tawak, tandok, and banana leaf scanning.
- Practice dry and wet touch manipulations across various body regions with proper technique and spiritual intention.
- Integrate Spiritual and Physical Healing Modalities
- Perform spiritual diagnosis and finger alignment techniques to assess and restore energetic balance.
- Facilitate fertility rituals and treatments for both male and female clients using Hilot principles.
- Design and Implement Recovery Programs for Specific Conditions
- Develop and apply Hilot-based stroke recovery programs focusing on sensitivity, mobility, strength, and endurance.
- Evaluate client progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
- Demonstrate Ministerial Competence and Ethical Practice
- Uphold the Hilot Code of Ethics and understand relevant laws governing traditional healing practices.
- Exhibit professionalism, compassion, and spiritual integrity in all aspects of Hilot Binabaylan ministry.
- Assess Learning and Celebrate Ministerial Achievement
- Participate in review, practice, and final assessment to demonstrate mastery of Hilot Binabaylan techniques.
- Receive formal recognition through graduation, affirming readiness to serve as a Minister of Hilot Binabaylan.

Preferred Qualifications
- Completion of TESDA Hilot Wellness NC II certification is considered an advantage, though not mandatory.

- Must demonstrate a sincere commitment to the spiritual principles and healing mission of Hilot Binabaylan Practice.
- Willingness to participate in hands-on training, ritual practices, and ministerial responsibilities as part of the curriculum.

Hilot Tanglaw Mentorship Training Program



The Hilot Tanglaw Mentorship Training is a continuing professional development program offered by the Hilot Academy of Binabaylan. It is designed for certified Hilot Binabaylan Practitioners who wish to elevate their practice and become Accredited Hilot Tanglaw Mentors (HTm).
At Hilot Academy, we believe that teaching is one of the highest forms of service. However, recognizing the potential alignment with government standards and regulations, we use the term Mentor instead of Teacher or Trainer. A Mentor shares wisdom through lived experience and practical application.
Program Duration and Cost
- Training Duration: 11 days
- Standard Program Fee: USD 1,500.00
- Alternative Payment Option: Practitioners may organize their own mentoring or training cohort. In this case, the program cost will be covered through a profit-sharing arrangement between the Mentor and the Hilot Academy of Binabaylan.
Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for Hilot Tanglaw Mentorship Accreditation, applicants must:
- Have at least 1–2 years of active practice in Hilot Binabaylan treatment methods.
- Submit 10–25 documented case studies using the official Hilot Profile Form.
- Each case must include:
- Diagnostic procedures: Finger Alignment, Finger Poking, Pulse Reading Analysis, Pasubay Assessment and Evaluation.
- Treatment recommendations.
- Patient feedback post-treatment.
Mentorship Session Proposal
Applicants must organize a mentoring or training session and submit a formal proposal to the Hilot Binabaylan Council for approval. The proposal should include:
- Session topics and objectives.
- Expected number of participants.
- Participation fee per attendee.
- Profit-sharing details between the Mentor and the Hilot Academy.
Evaluation and Accreditation
Upon completion of the mentorship session, participants will undergo an online evaluation and validation conducted by the Hilot Binabaylan Council. Successful candidates will receive a recommendation for graduation and ordination, officially recognizing them as Hilot Binabaylan Practitioners under the lineage of the Hilot Tanglaw Mentorship Program.
Advancement to Doctor of Ministry in Hilot Binabaylan Practice (D.Min.HBp)
The word Doctor comes from the Latin docere, meaning “to teach.” Thus, the Doctor of Ministry in Hilot Binabaylan Practice is a title conferred upon those who have demonstrated mastery and the ability to teach and lead in the tradition.
A. Prerequisites
- Must be a Master of Ministry in Hilot Binabaylan Practice (M.Min.HBp) for 1 to 2 years
- Must be a Hilot Tanglaw (HTm) who has:
- Conducted at least 5-10 Hilot Binabaylan Trainings
- Submitted 20 to 50 patient case studies
B. Thesis and Dissertation
- Must submit a thesis or dissertation based on:
- A special case handled during practice, and/or
- A special curriculum highlighting the candidate’s unique method of applying Hilot Binabaylan Techniques
C. Application Process
